Day 2 Intro

GOP Convention Day 2 features two of my favorite leaders from the 2008 primary, Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney.  Rudy's record as Mayor of New York was phenomenal, even without his stocism of 911.  Coming from the suburb of the City of Pittsuburgh, a region that is long overdue for conservative stewardship, Rudy is a fine example.  Mitt Romney really was coming into his own during this primary season, as he was eloquently and passionately articulating conservative themes.  He would have been our nominee, had he not had to deal with Team Huckabee throwing in with John McCain.  I am looking forward to hearing these fine individuals speak tonight.  Lastly, the flavor of the week Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin will speak to the nation.  While I was disappointed that Mitt Romney was not the nominee, Sarah Palin has many great qualities.  I find the media and the left’s relentless attacks on this woman and her family to be deplorable and beyond any level of decency.  I must confess that I have some misgivings, most concerning not her abilities but the motivations surrounding the pick.  Nonetheless, I am anxious so hear her speech tonight and will hold my fire until then.  GO SARAH!
